Enharmonic Change

The button (Icon) "Toggle Enharmonic" you will find in the toolbar category < page >.

You have the possibility to equip all the notes (with same sound-name) with a certain accidentals occurring in an area. Mark the portion of your music, that should be enharmonically  reinterpreted, and then click on the corresponding button. Following dialogue appears:

In this example, all "D#" (D-sharps) of the previously marked area are changed to "Eb" (E-flats).

Select the tune which should be reinterpreted (toggle enharmonic), and the desired accidental. Then click on O.K.

Alternatives:

If you need to toggle enharmonic only individual notes, you can use the keys |b| as well as |#|. Furthermore, you can find this function also in the edit-note-dialogue, (Enter as well as Return key). As mentioned before, here you have the possibility to toggle enharmonic individual melodic-ornament tunes (for example trills with accidentals), as well as single chord tunes.To execute such operations in this dialogue, do it by click on corresponding button (Icon).
