Inserting A Stave (As Strand Or Sub Line)

The button (Icon) "Isert Strand (sub-line)" , you will find in the Tool bar Tab (Category <Page>.

First, click into the line, under which a new strand (sub-line) should be inserted and click on the symbol above.

Hereby you insert strands (sub-lines) for voices of a voice-group (main-lines) only.

If you want to insert a main-line for a new voice-group, so you pick line-group /Insert main-line. The button (Icon) .

Please do not confuse the functions: "Insert line" with "insert bars"!

If you want to insert only further bars in a voice in order to get a new line),

pick the function Insert bar(s) in the Tool bar Tab (Category) <Meter>.

The same function Insert bar(s) you will find in the Tool bar Tab (Category) <Form>.
