Transpose Selected Area (Marked Block Of Notes) DOWN



The button (Icon) "transpose downwards" you can find in the Tool bar Registry Tab (Category) <Work>.


Mark the area which you want to transpose. Then click on the corresponding button (Icon):


The following dialogue appears:




The appropriate dialog box appears and you can choose the desired interval for transposition.


If you want to transpose a whole stave (single part - voice - instrument), Transpose single part (voice - instrument) then it is better to use the dialog-box


for the voice transposition: You will get: If you want to transpose the single part only, check the option Transpose the active part only


Attention! When corresponding dialog-box appears, do not forget to check the option "Transpose active part only", otherwise all staves in the score will be transposed!


The button (Icon) for this you can find in the Tool bar Registry Tab (Category) <Clef/Key>.


If you want to get one single part shown transposed only, without the real transposition, then click on the icon: You will get:


Your single part will be shown transposed, but the pitch will stay the same!




To transpose the complete (entire piece) composition (full score) use the function Transpose whole (entire) piece (full score, composition).


The button (Icon) for this you can find in the Tool bar Registry Tab (Category) <Clef/Key>. You will get the same dialog box


but at this time, to get the whole score transposed, you should not check the option Transpose the active part only!
