Cut (Cutting out)

The button "Cut" you can find in the Tool bar category <edit>.

Mark the area which you want to cut out. It can go over several bars, staves and voices. Then click on the corresponding button:

After cutting out, all highlighted notes and rests included all associated symbols will be copied to the clipboard. With Paste you can insert the copied (cuted out) content in to an arbitrary place again.

Alternatively, you can use  |Ctrl | + |X| or |Ctrl | + |Del |
